TikTok is uses as a sanctuary for many , a place to escape the harsh realities of life and socialise. However, my experience I have seen  disgusting behaviour that have left many feeling unsafe and violated. This is not an isolated incident; countless users across the globe share similar experiences every day. According to Ditch the Label's Annual Bullying Survey 2020, 42% of young people using TikTok reported being bullied on the platform (Ditch The Label). This alarming statistic underscores the urgent need for stronger safety measures.

We are calling on TikTok to implement more robust moderation policies and tools that will protect its users from harmful content and interactions. We believe in creating an environment where everyone can enjoy their time without fear or distress.

TikTok has proven itself capable of introducing innovative features; it's high time they innovate for user safety too. Let's make our voices heard so that no one else has to endure what we've been through.
