Bullying is a serious issue that can have devastating effects on a child's life. Today, I had a meeting with the principal, assistant principal, and a deputy at Yulee Middle School to address the bullying that my child, Sanai, has been experiencing. I expressed my frustrations and concerns, and I am relieved to say that Yulee Middle School has taken responsibility and is committed to rectifying this situation.

The principal made it clear that bullying is a violation of class IV (SESIR) and will result in serious consequences. They have strict bullying policies in place, including the in-school program Hornet 411, which educates students on the harmful effects of bullying. The school and authorities are currently investigating the incident and are taking statements from all parties involved.

I am grateful that Yulee Middle School is taking this matter seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. It is important for parents to remind their children to speak up if they are ever feeling uncomfortable or being bullied. Let's work together to create a safe and supportive environment for all students. No child should have to endure the pain and suffering that bullying can cause.
