Update from David McLeod, our local MP

Hi guys, just wanted to give you an update since I haven’t posted anything in over a month. I followed up with our local MP David McLeod a couple of weeks ago and he told me he was in talks with our transportation minister to try to make some changes. Nothing formal has yet to be announced, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is able to our message across and get our project moving forward.
In the meantime, it seems that the petition has completely stalled and we are stuck at 742 signatures. it is my guess that a lot of people think they have signed it, but they have not confirmed their signature in their email so it has not gone through. If you’ve signed the petition but have not verified it in your email please do so because that will help get the numbers up. Also another good way to get the numbers up is if each and every one of you that reads this message can get just one person to sign the petition that would get us well over 1000 signatures. Your kids, can sign the petition as well as long as they have an email to  verify the signature.
