Today I arrived in Sweden to spend the Christmas holiday with my daughter and her family. I hired a car in Malmo at 4pm and it was already dark. The trip took 1 hour 10 minutes , part motorway part local roads.

There was 1 car towards the end following me with UK style headlights. It confirmed to me even more how challenging, dangerous and unpleasant driving at night has become in the UK.
