The city of Saugatuck, MI is experiencing a surge in short-term rentals within residential zones. This trend has the potential to disrupt the community fabric and reduce the population of full-time residents that the city needs to thrive.  We propose that the planning commission and city council implement reasonable caps on these rentals within residential zones.
