Implement New Game Plus for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Issue

Assassin's Creed Valhalla, developed by Ubisoft, has proven to be a popular game since its release in November 2020. It has sold millions of copies worldwide and continues to engage players with its immersive gameplay and rich storytelling. However, many players have expressed their desire for a New Game Plus mode - a feature that allows them to replay the game with all the progress they've made in their initial playthrough.

New Game Plus is not an unfamiliar concept in gaming. It has been successfully implemented in other games within the Assassin's Creed franchise such as Origins, Odyssey and recently, Mirage, enhancing replayability and player satisfaction. The absence of this feature in Valhalla is therefore surprising and extremely disappointing to many fans. The mere absence of this feature is disheartening for the fans of the franchise.

By introducing New Game Plus to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft can provide an enriched gaming experience for its dedicated fanbase while demonstrating responsiveness to player feedback. We urge Ubisoft to consider this request seriously.

On a personal note -

I have played Assassin's Creed Valhalla since December 2020, and I am still not able to upgrade all of my gear today. And losing everything I've worked so hard to get and upgrade all these years is definitely not something I am willing- or have time - to do. I want to replay the main missions and the mysteries, but it would take an awful lot longer starting from scratch. Besides, I want to keep my Gungnir spear for the whole of the game, not just the end of it. It is a beautiful game, filled with interesting story arcs and side activities, that would be so much more enjoyable if there was no grinding to get good gear and resources involved.
