URGE LOW COST/FREE SPAY AND NEUTER SERVICES IN APPLE VALLEY CA

The Issue

We can't stand by and watch the pet overpopulation crisis any longer. Many pets in this town—the very same town Roy Rogers and his horse Trigger called home—are being allowed to reproduce by irresponsible owners that don't care what the consequences are for these new dogs, many of whom will not find good homes, many will end up being euthanized. A low cost spay and neuter facility that citizens can bring their pets to is the only thing that will help put a dent in this crisis, this could be a few rooms in a town facility, spay and neuters are also performed in mobile clinics. The Town of Apple Valley must fund this without delay. The majority of residents are sick of seeing stories daily of dogs dumped in the desert and the endless stream of dogs dumped and abandoned on our streets, these dogs deserve SO MUCH BETTER than to suffer because they are unwanted. We need to help control pet overpopulation.

The time for change is now. We need to put an end to this heartbreaking, unwarranted suffering of animals. Instead of assigning funds to unnecessary things that are NOT BROKEN, LET'S FIX APPLE VALLEY, its cats and dogs that is.

THE TOWN MUST FUND A REGULAR LOW COST OR FREE SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC.

IT IS FAR MORE FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM OF PET OVERPOPULATION AT THE SOURCE, NOT TO PAY FOR THE "MANAGEMENT" OF THE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOGS THAT ONE DOG AND HER OFFSPRING CAN PRODUCE.

The irony of this situation in the hometown of the world's most famous horse, loved worldwide, and Apple Valley resident, TRIGGER, is not lost on us. By honoring his legacy, we must recognize our responsibility towards all animals. Let's work on mending what is broken, rather than investing in the unbroken. Join us to halt frivolous spending and fix Apple Valley for the better. A better way of life can only be achieved if we take care of our cats and dogs. Sign this petition today to help lay the foundation for a better, more humane tomorrow. PLEASE CONTINUE TO SIGN AND SHARE SO WE GET A YES ON THIS, THANK YOU.
