This petition stems from a deeply personal experience that I, like millions of Americans each year, have unfortunately gone through. I have personally had an Ulta box stolen from my front porch. The thief knew exactly what to target because of the Ulta logo displayed on the outer surface of the box. Additionally, my best friend captured video footage of a UPS driver walking back on the truck with a Nike box, which was identifiable due to the Nike insignia on the outside.

This isn't just our problem. It's a widespread crisis. According to a survey by C+R Research, 36% of Americans have been victims of package theft. Given that the corporate logos on shipping boxes are often a blatant indicator for thieves, a change in packaging policy would go a long way in combatting this issue.

This petition calls for a simple yet effective strategy: we demand that corporations start putting logos on the inside of their shipping boxes instead of on the outside. This would make delivered packages less attractive to would-be thieves, as they would have no way of knowing the box's contents.
