Implement Gluten-Free Processes for All Cadbury Chocolate Products

My partner, like many others around the world, was diagnosed with coeliac disease, an autoimmune disorder that can lead to damage in the small intestine when a person consumes gluten. One simple pleasure that she, and so many others, dearly miss is the ability safely to enjoy Cadbury chocolate. The current "may contain" warning on Cadbury products prevents individuals with coeliac disease from being able to consume them without risking their health.

Given the prevalence of coeliac disease, which affects one in every 100 people globally (Beyond Celiac), there is a significant community who long for the luxurious tastes of classic Cadbury chocolate. We need Cadbury to commit to rigorous gluten-free manufacturing processes, allowing all those affected by coeliac disease to safely enjoy their chocolate.

Making Cadbury chocolate gluten-free will not only increase brand loyalty among the millions impacted by this disease but will also empower Cadbury to be a more inclusive brand for those who are required to follow strict dietary regimes.
