Every day, I start my shift with a challenging trek from the lower half of the employee parking lot up to the work building. It's not just a simple walk—it's an uphill battle against the blistering dry heat, while lugging my lunch and personal belongings. This uphill climb under the relentless sun is not only uncomfortable but potentially harmful.

I am not alone in this struggle. Many of my colleagues face the same routine, making the beginning and end of each workday a physical challenge. The issue is especially acute for those with mobility issues or health conditions exacerbated by the heat and physical exertion. Given the amount of time and effort it takes just to get to work, our energy levels and overall morale can be negatively impacted, affecting our productivity.

We are appealing for a practical solution to ease this daily burden. One suggestion is the installation of a covered walkway or shuttle service that can mitigate the harsh weather conditions and provide convenience for all employees. Implementing something as simple as this can improve safety and well-being, ensuring that we start our day at our best.
