Every day, countless people with disabilities and those in their old age have to navigate the complex bus system of Delhi without any audio guidance. Relying only on written cues, which might be inaccessible for those with visual impairments, leads to innumerable complications and difficulties in their daily commute. We speak of progress and development, yet, we've overlooked such a fundamental aspect of inclusivity – accessibility.

According to the 2011 Census of India, there are over 2.68 crore persons with disabilities in India, approximately 2.21 percent of the total population. A large part of this community, along with the elderly who often face mobility issues, could greatly benefit from just a simple addition of audio announcements in public buses. Not only does it facilitate ease of use, it promotes their autonomy and the independence that comes with it.
