As a student of Foothill High School, I have witnessed and heard the stories of the accidents that have occurred along the intersection of McCloud Drive and Hillsdale Boulevard. I understand how life-threatening these accidents can be as just last year, on June 4th, 2024,  there was an incident that sent 4 people to the hospital. These accidents occur frequently and increase the chances of students being endangered. It is evident that the poor traffic management at this location has led to an unsafe school zone. Therefore,  we are advocating for the immediate installation of a traffic light at this intersection to increase safety and prevent future incidents.
