We've had an outpouring of support, thank you so much to every person that has messaged and signed due to the ABC story. Since the council refused to budge, even with the recent win at the Building Authority for tiny houses, we've since had to empty and vacate our tiny to avoid being taken to court by the Yarra Ranges council. We're safe and well, Benny and I are lucky that we have the resources to have a roof over our heads but I know many people who don't have that option and 'temporary' housing is how they're keeping themselves and their families safe.
It's very depressing and stressful, however a lot of people are doing great work to keep the fight going. Please check out an additional petition that has been started by Ivor Wolstencroft who has set a letter to the Human Rights Commission on this issue.
