Implement a Spam Detection Algorithm on Quora

The Issue

As an avid daily user of Quora, I am constantly bombarded with spam questions such as "What post deserves xxxx upvotes/views?" These questions clutter the platform and detract from its primary purpose - to share knowledge and foster meaningful discussions. It is clear that there is a need for an effective solution to this growing problem.

Quora, with its millions of users worldwide, has the responsibility to ensure a quality experience for all its users. However, the proliferation of spam questions undermines this goal. According to Statista, as of April 2020, Quora had approximately 300 million monthly active users worldwide. This means that potentially hundreds of millions of people are being exposed to these spam questions every month.

We propose that Quora should implement an algorithm capable of detecting and filtering out these spam questions automatically. This would greatly improve the user experience by reducing unnecessary clutter and allowing more meaningful content to shine through.

By signing this petition, you are supporting a cleaner, more efficient Quora where knowledge sharing remains at the forefront without being overshadowed by irrelevant content. Please sign this petition and help us bring about positive change on one of the world's largest knowledge-sharing platforms.
