Navigating London’s busy streets is hard enough, but when one of the world’s most expensive transport systems doesn’t run properly, it turns daily life into chaos. Many of us face constant delays, cancellations, and disruptions on TFL services, making us late for work, missing appointments, or getting stranded with no reliable alternatives.

We pay some of the highest fares globally, yet the service often doesn’t match the cost. Other major cities like New York and Paris already offer clear refund or compensation schemes when services fail. London should too.

TFL needs a simple, accessible refund policy for disrupted or cancelled journeys—one that lets passengers claim easily online or through the app, with clear rules and quick processing. This would offer commuters real financial relief and push TFL to improve reliability.

We deserve compensation when the service we pay for isn’t delivered.
