Hello to everyone that has supported Christian and knows his story and to those that are just now coming across Christian’s petition. The only thing that has changed is time. Christian has been incarcerated for 7 years now for a 1st offense and no violent charges for a marijuana conspiracy. It took us 4 years to get an appeal and we have waited over 9 months now on an answer. Please help us by signing his petition and sharing it so we can get him back home to his family. Christian has been a model inmate and has done everything required of him. Cannabis is legal in the state of Illinois and we are asking Governor Pritzker to please grant Christian clemency and release him. He has spent his 20’s incarcerated and is now 31 years old. His family needs him home desperately and we are hoping he can come home and return to work and pick up the pieces of his life and possibly have a family of his own someday. We feel he has paid dearly the last 7 years and so has his family. Keeping him any longer really no longer serves justice and he was sentenced excessively for a first time offender with no violent charges. Thousands of people agree and feel his sentence was extremely harsh. We are asking everyone to please sign and share and help us bring Christian home.
