IT IS ALL LAWLESS:
Yesterday, I went perusing the governors newest edict. What I discovered was that he has been doing all of this under the guise of Idaho Code 56-1003(7) which states:
"The director, under rules adopted by the board of health and welfare, shall have the power to impose and enforce orders of isolation and quarantine to protect the public from the spread of infectious or communicable diseases or from contamination from chemical or biological agents, whether naturally occurring or propagated by criminal or terrorist act."
It goes on, in the subsections here to talk about how it is subject to judicial review. I have been in law enforcement for a long time and know the law and the constitution inside and out. I thought, "How can there be judicial review of a sweeping order?" Judicial review is typically a due process right afforded to individuals.
Then, I realized, "isolation" and "quarantine" are the word the orders are based on. What I found is common in Idaho law. There is a "definitions" section spelled out in 56-1001.
Sure enough, "Isolation" and "Quarantine" are only for people who are suspected of being infected. Our representatives did not give the governor and his appointees dictatorial power for every virus that comes along. If they suspect someone is highly contagious, they can issue them an order of isolation. They can quarantine a building suspected of being infected.
HOW DARE THEY USE THE COLOR OF LAW TO IMPEED ON OUR RIGHTS AND TO DESTROY US!
