If a company says it will stop cruelly caging hens, you’d expect it to follow through, right?
Especially if that company made its promise nearly a decade ago. And proclaims itself as the UK’s ‘leading wholesaler’. And is owned by a parent company worth over $50 billion.
Well, bosses at major UK wholesaler Brakes seem to think differently. They’ve gone silent on their cage-free promise, even removing it from their website.
This is not okay. 8 in 10 hens in the UK are already free from cages. We’re close to putting an end to this cruel and outdated practice for good. Bosses at Brakes have no right to hold progress back and condemn thousands of hens to lives of suffering in dark, cramped cages where they can barely stretch their wings.
We can stop this cruelty, but I need your help. Will you take a quick action today to hold bosses at Brakes accountable?
