in 2000, The left handed guitar community received a gift from Ibanez in the form of the RG7420. This guitar is the ONLY 7 string equip left handed guitar that Ibanez has ever made. This guitar has gone on to become a highly collectable and rare piece coveted by the left handed community. 

19 years later and all Ibanez had given us over the years is hard tail 7 strings. We graciously appreciate these hard tails, but in reality, we want a tremolo unit. There are MANY manufacturers out there making trem equipped left handed 7 string guitars, and we need to show Ibanez that the need is there.

Ibanez has proven to us through some custom shop endorse models, that they are more than capable of producing these guitars. The Ibanez Edge tremolo systems (Gotoh) already have a built in pre-drilled pilot hole for the either side of the tremolo base plate, so making the hardware is not the issue, and the locking nut has been available as a 7 string lefty for a long time, as proven by the 7420. We are not picky, a standard 752 would suffice, although the Universe anniversary models should be coming out soon as well, hint hint :)

The goal of this petition is to get it in the eyes of the Ibanez marketing team, to show them the demand and that people are willing to throw down deposits at any time, so please sign this petition to show Ibanez there is a huge demand out there for left handed tremolo equipped guitars.
