I support the principle that racial security should be treated seriously as a matter of protection, safeguarding, resilience and institutional accountability.
By signing this petition, I also make the following pledge:
I pledge to protect my racial identity, respect the right of others to protect theirs, and work with others where racial security is a common interest.
I support evidence before conclusion, safeguards before harm, accountability where systems fail, and cooperation between communities where risks are shared.
I support the development of Racial Security as a framework through which people can participate in identifying, examining and reducing risks affecting their racial identity and communities.
I reject racial supremacy, collective blame and the proposition that racial communities themselves should be treated as threats.
I support mutual racial security: the racial security of one community should not require the racial insecurity of another.
