I Love Muhammad ﷺ

The Issue

I am writing to lodge a serious complaint on behalf of Indian Muslims regarding the continuous insults against Islam and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as well as the systematic targeting of Muslims in India. It is extremely painful to witness how certain groups and individuals—particularly those affiliated with Hindutva extremist groups and some Hindu organizations—are openly spreading hate, spitting venom, and insulting our faith on a daily basis.

In recent times, these insulting acts are not only going unchecked but are also growing in intensity and frequency. The authorities often turn a blind eye or worse, target Muslims instead of apprehending the real offenders. This systematic injustice has created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among Indian Muslims who now feel alienated and marginalized in their own country.

The right to practice one's religion freely and without fear is a fundamental human right, as enshrined in Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. However, for Indian Muslims, this remains a distant reality, as they continuously face threats and persecution simply for adhering to their faith.

We urgently appeal to the United Nations to intervene, step in to ensure justice is served, and work towards restoring peace and protecting the rights of Indian Muslims. An international spotlight on these human rights violations is essential, requiring decisive action to hold the perpetrators accountable and prevent further abuse.

Your signature on this petition will provide hope and amplify the voices of millions of Indian Muslims who demand justice, protection, and the right to live with dignity. We urge you to stand with us and call upon the United Nations to take immediate and effective action. Your support can help ensure a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone.
