Comment from my eldest daughter Ruoxi: "Despite being his daughter, I have no claim for this petition. The only truth I can pledge is that of being a lifelong witness to all the hardships my father had to endure living in Canada since early 1987 up until now. As a child, teenager and adult, I had to watch my father painfully be subject to countless discriminatory acts based upon his race and language. I've tried to help in the past but discrimination is often masked under other pretenses by offenders and proof of their damage to the person and their personal assets are rarely straightforward nor ever easy to demonstrate. In this case, there is supported just cause since there is demonstration of abuse of power. However, Peter is standing against a racially exclusive municipal jurisdiction that can modify and manipulate their laws. They have more power and they are using it unfairly against a single civilian without demonstrating proof of cause. This is why I sign today. To give voice to his cause and to help make known situations like these when people suffer hopelessly and quietly."
Both of my other two daughters could not bear the pressure and moved to Strathmore. and they worry will be the next victims and the satiation and living environment deeply effects their educational and daily lives in village of Standard. The school division at the time decided to let me concentrate with my issues to deal with the legal harassment, and they brought my two daughters to other village to let them to have peace and more focus with their educational. And I am really appreciated.
