The 2023 Michigan high school track season has begun, and we have several new athletes competing this year!  The adaptive division is growing, which is a beautiful thing.  We're on the final year of the MHSAA's pilot program, and flooding the category with athletes is crucial to making the adaptive category permanent!  Not only do we want it to remain permanent, we want to PUSH FORWARD, to include more events in track and field, to enshrine a competitive model where para-athletes become scoring members of their team, and create an ambulatory division.  In short, our work is NOT DONE, and this track season is our opportunity to show the MHSAA that there are fierce competitors that deserve to be out on the track with their fellow teammates.  Please keep spreading the word!  And be watching for these trailblazers like Jacob, who are paving the way for future generations of athletes!
