Waverly Elementary and Waverly Junior High schools have been flooded a few times in the past.  On August 21, 2021 the schools were flooded in an instant to the extent that if our children were in school, they would all be victims and death would be certain. There was no warning and the schools were submerged within minutes. 
The community has suffered and has lost. Families are afraid to send our precious children to school due to the location. This far exceeds the fear of COVID. 
children are voicing there fears and concerns. Please, let’s unit and “move the schools!”
