The handshake is a common greeting used around the world. With a history stretching all the way back to 5th century BC, the clasping of hands likely originated as a sign of peace and good faith between two parties, proving that neither person was carrying a weapon. 

The trouble is, the handshake is a vehicle for plenty of invisible weapons in the form of infectious germs like certain viruses and bacteria. With the rising spread of novel coronavirus and today's need for containment, we believe it's time to STOP THE SHAKE, slow the viral spread, and adopt a new respectful greeting: a gesture we call "All Heart, No Hands." 

The move is simple: Next time you greet a colleague, meet someone new, or even see your bestie, simply place your right hand over your heart and take a slight bow, dipping your head forward to show respect. That's it! Stay a few feet apart, trade the handshake for a hand over your heart, and nod your head forward to say, "Welcome. I see you. Respect!"
