Dogs are being brutally kept, beaten, slaughtered and eaten by people who have plenty other sources of food to eat and simply think dog meat is sweeter. Dogs are men's best friend NOT FOOD. Please join me in signing this petition and bring awareness to the Ghana government to shut down this horrible operation. My wish is that the people of Ghana can be educated that not only is this an unhealthy option for food due to the horrible conditions these dogs are kept in and their contraction of diseases, bacteria, worms, etc. it is also an extremely inhumane act. These selfless creatures have nothing but love and loyalty to give and deserve better than being brutally abused. They are not a source of food, but a source for happiness, love, and inspiration! Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway and the Minister of Food and Agriculture Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto must do something about it and stop this madness.
