Human rights; Stop the Evil regime that killing Iran’s youth.

Asal Vahedi and 19 others have signed recently.

The Issue

To the Honourable Foreign Minister of Belgium and the United Nations Human Rights Council.

I, an Iranian-Belgian physician and Human Rights activist, along with other co-signatories, hereby express our deepest concern about the brutal treatment and repression of the Islamic regime in Iran over the past 20 weeks.

Demonstrations broke out across Iran after 22-year-old Kurdish girl Mahsa Amini was killed in police custody on September 16. She was arrested for allegedly violating the Islamic strict dress code requiring women to wear headscarves, Hijabs. Frankly, she has been killed because of some visible hairs?!
Protesters got angry and in the massive demonstrations on the streets, across the country and women started burning headscarves. The regime's force-police started suppressing them with tear gas, and water cannons and unbelievably shot fire with army weapons directly at the hearts and heads of the protesters. Update, more than 525 youngsters have also been reported killed. (At least 72 children were killed with impunity during a brutal crackdown on youthful protests).

Now: international institutions, organizations including the United Nations, the European and American parliaments, and organizations constantly talk about human rights and human dignity... only applying weak sanctions?
What is your conscience about all this oppression and killing of innocent people at the hands of this satanic regime? anti-woman and anti-human values, doesn't it help?

How did all of you sit quietly in the recent General Assembly of the United Nations and listen to his nonsense propaganda, the murderer of Iranians, and applaud him? Shame on you... while you were busy giving heart to that murderer, the youth of Iran were being killed on the streets by the mercenaries of the regime of ignorance. In a way, Iranian believe that you are complicit with the regime in this massacre…

A schoolgirl, identified as Asra Panahi, was killed when plainclothes forces attacked the Shahed Girls High School in Ardabil on October 13, 2022. Several other girl students who the agents violently beat are now being treated at the Fatemi Hospital. The number of abducted and missing schoolgirls has reached 19. The school’s principal agreed to the authorities’ attack and kidnapping in this school in Ardabil, which outraged the girls’ families as they began to find out about the violation.

On October 15, troubling reports and video evidence emerged of shootings and a fire in Evin Prison, the notorious location in which many prisoners are incarcerated.

We are concerned that the lives of many prisoners of conscience (including but not limited to political prisoners, civic activists, artists, representatives of ethnic and religious groups, and labor unionists) and dual citizens held in that prison and other prisons across Iran are in great danger.

Unfortunately, the Belgian Parliament recently voted in favor of exchanging prisoners with this dictatorial regime, which was very shameful.

Support for the Iranian people must include the isolation of their oppressor, the Islamic Republic. Expressions of solidarity are valuable but insufficient to stop the bullets from killing Iran’s youth.

MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THIS EVIL REGIME AND ITS ALLIES ARE NOT  WELCOME OR ACCEPTED ANYWHERE ANYMORE.

We hereby demand that you:

· Immediately designate the ambassadors or other representatives of the Islamic regime in Belgium, serving either within the embassy or international institutions, and order their removal from Belgium,

· Close their embassies and expel them all and cut off diplomatic relations with these devils completely.

· EXPEL them from the UN headquarters in protest of their illegal and inhumane treatment of protesters in Iran.

· Do not release; Assadollah Assadi, (50, who worked at the Iranian embassy in Vienna, was given a 20-year jail term by the court in Antwerp in Belgium). He is a terrorist and by sending him to Iran, you are causing the killing of Iranian youths.

Undoubtedly, this will be a historical disgrace, in the relationship between Belgium and Iranians.

(DO YOUR JOB AS SUPPOSED TO BE)

And then you can say that you stood by the innocent people of Iran and then we can believe you that you did respect the defense of human rights.
