We deplore the hostile targeting of Agnieszka Holland, the Oscar-nominated, free-thinking and forward-looking film-maker, who protested against the persecution of LGBT people in Poland, and drew attention to the way the rule of law is being eroded by the incumbent Law and Justice government (PiS).

She is being targeted because, today, she is the most high-profile defender of human rights in Poland. 

We also call for an investigation of ORDO IURIS, the international law-firm that is the instrument of this politically motivated and aggressive witch-hunt of anyone who speaks against these brutal, unconstitutional and far-right policies.
