Petition to save Abdellah benaoum’s life

Abdellah Benaoum is a human rights activist and a political activist and a blogger from Relizane (west of Algeria).

In 2018 He was arrested and tortuered in prison because of his facebook posts he was on a hunger strive  then for 85 days which made degradade his health

He has been released and incarcerated for a second time on 9th december 2019. 03 days before the presidential elections in Algeria.

With many charges: insulting a statutory body

Weakening the moral of the army

Interfering with the security of the state as well as the unity and peace of the country

His lawyer said that his health was deteriorating and he is in need of an urgent surgery ln his heart.

The request of his temporary release has been refused on the 16th of July 2020.

عبد الله بن نعوم ناشط في مجال حقوق الإنسان وناشط سياسي ومدون من ولاية غليزان (غرب الجزائر). في عام 2018 ، تم اعتقاله وتعذيبه في السجن بسبب منشوراته على الفيسبوك ، و قد قام بإضراب عن الطعام لمدة 85 يومًا مما أدى إلى تدهور صحته. تم إطلاق سراحه و تم سجنه للمرة الثانية يوم 9 ديسمبر 2019. 03 أيام قبل الانتخابات الرئاسية في الجزائر. مع العديد من التهم: إهانة هيئة قانونية إضعاف معنويات الجيش المساس بأمن الدولة ووحدة الوطن وسلامته قالت محاميته: "إن صحته في تدهور وانه بحاجة إلى عملية جراحية عاجلة على مستوى القلب. تم رفض طلب الإفراج المؤقت عنه في 16 يوليو 2020.
