Hey Merfamily!
As you know, it’s been a little while since our last update. We took a step back after our 9/21 Mermaid Monday #SaveSiren efforts to allow the UK fans the opportunity to watch season 3 (it was released months after it was in the US) and time to gather them to help our momentum pick back up.
In the meantime, we’ve been reaching out to various resources and hope to have some new info soon. To be honest, the feedback we have gotten on Siren’s chances for renewal hasn’t been the best, but if we could get more signatures (we need at least 50k-75k) and make a whole lot of organized noise on social media, that could make a huge difference! If you’re in our Facebook group, check out our Announcements section for more ways to help this cause. (Side note-our group isn’t going anywhere!)
In other news, we want to give a huge congrats to Alix West Lefler (Hope) on her Joey Award win for her part in Siren! Way to go, Alix! If you haven’t had a chance, check her out on Instagram and show her and our other amazing cast and crew members some Siren love. While you’re there, check out our page—we recently held a contest and we’d love for everyone to check out the winners!
Lastly, we know it’s hard to wait, and to keep hope up that our efforts aren’t in vain. Try to remember your love for Siren and the passion for it that made you join this fight to begin with. Even if we don’t succeed, at least we can say we tried, and that we cared enough to do so! That’s something to be proud of.
