Huawei Honor 6 is an impressive phone in terms of hardware but it lacks when it comes to software. Following are the reasons for this:
1. Slow updates from Honor
2. Proprietary hardware used - source code not available
3. Lack of developer support

We would like to request Huawei to please release Lollipop Kernel source code for the phone as this will help developers to develop after market ROMS such as CyanogenMod. According to Huawei, Honor brand has sold more than 20 million smartphones worldwide. Another Indian report says that, 10,000 Honor 6 phones were sold in only 48 hours. Many buyers would like to try the stock android experience which is provided by after market ROMS.

There are quick updates for models launched exclusively for China but the same is not reflected when it comes to International model H60-L04. Please provide source code to the users so they can use desired software. This will enforce trust among the users as Huawei being a consumer friendly and developer friendly company.
