Plight Of The Elephants

The elephants of Myanmar are victims of war. The government has engaged in systematic ethnic cleanings of the Muslim minority group- the Rohingya. The refugees, in turn, are decimating the elephants national home by building shelters right on the elephant's migration route. This has lead to conflict with the fleeing refugees. One was shot by a refugee when it wandered to close to the camp, another was electrocuted by the electric fences, the third one was poisoned by tainted bait, a fourth died from landmines set by the army. Finally, another two died of unknown causes. The elephants have been pushed to the limit and as a result, have attacked humans in a rampage. Sadly landmines are not the only issue affecting the elephants. The army has only made things worst by polluting the area with landmines in an attempt to murder the fleeing refugees. Unfortunately, the elephants are collateral damage, innocent victims caught up in the chaos. Thank You for your unbelievable support, please continue to sign and share.
