Good evening everyone,

This is just a quick update to inform everyone that the legal battle for Jones Hill Wood AKA 'The Roald Dahl Woods', was devastatingly lost a few days ago and that the appeal is going ahead tomorrow. 
Although there is still a small chance of saving these trees from HS2 permanently, we really need as many people down at the woods as possible this weekend, to show solidarity and to hold Natural England to account to protect all endangered species. 
The people who have fought the year-long battle to save the woods are holding a vigil tomorrow at 10am (Friday 30th April 2021) to say their last goodbyes to this beautiful ancient woodland. Please do come along to also pay your respects. The larger the numbers the better; even if you don't live in the area, please do spread the news.

There is a possibility that other things may be taking place in the woods this weekend but I will update you as soon as things have been finalised so keep your eyes peeled!
