Bad and Good News

Hi folks, The bad news: I have just heard back from the HRM Clerk’s office. Unfortunately they are unable to accept the petition from our group, since they do not accept petitions from www.change.org The good news: I may create a Word or Excel file with the names and emails of the people who signed this petition and submit an alternative petition document with all the signatures of the old document; I am asking you therefore if you wish to have your name on that alternative petition document with the same text as before -- in that case you don't need to respond. However, if you want your name removed from the alternative petition (same text as before!) then please respond to this message within 7 days (deadline December 9, 2015). Once that is done I'll resubmit the Word/Excel petition with our names and emails and a cover letter advising that all signatures where contacted and that they would be included in this alternative petition unless they disagreed. This alternative process would fulfill HRM's requirements for due diligence. Cheers, Ulrich
