Dear Sports Fans,

My name is Garrick Jones, former Houston Texan, President of the Huddle Up Foundation of Houston, and Vice President of The NFLPA Houston Chapter. A year and a half ago, I threw my name in the ring to be considered a general manager candidate for the Houston Texans. Needless to say, that request fell on deaf ears; however, I tapped into the two most important groups to a professional sports organization which are the athletes and fans. By me championing the fans' voice, I was also able to grab the attention of prominent business organizations across the globe and several communities that wanted to do something about the status quo.

Unfortunately, due to the on-field and off-field mismanagement that has plagued the Texans organization and other prominent organizations in the city of Houston, it is now time for Act 2 of my initiative. Sports fans worldwide have started a FanCentric movement that they felt, if paired with the work I have done here in the city, would have more of an impact to kick start a campaign that allows fans to have the voice they have been longing for.
