Public Comment session July 18th

We are going to go in yet again to City Council to make sure they understand that Houston is falling behind. Join us if you can by signing up with an e-mail to citysecretary@houstontx.gov. Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, Montreal, Phoenix, Honolulu, Denver, San Francisco, Tucson, Columbus, OH, Knoxville TN, much of Massachusetts and Connecticut and the entire state of Georgia are all choosing warmer lower glare LED street lights. The lamp below shows why. You can compare five colors of white light and seven brightnesses. And you can show that you see worse with glary white light tilted slightly toward you than much fainter warm white light with no glare from the LEDs visible. This is great for civic club meetings.
