Many of you who have signed are living with a street light outside your home. If it is in your yard, call 311 and demand a house side shield. Unfortunately, there is no remedy for a light across the street from your home and there is some risk that a shield will worsen things for the home across the street. We finally know that the model is the Cree XPS and a shield is definitely manufactured. Don't take no for an answer. This is an imperfect remedy, but might make the lighting more bearable for some. The wattage is 45 watts, twice the currently recommended conversion rate from HPS to LED.
