To all, If you can, please come support Jonathan C C Day, a petition signer and lawyer whose specialties include government relations, at the Public Comment session of City Council on Tuesday January 5th which begins at 2:00 pm. These sessions can take some time and there is no way of knowing exactly when any one speaker will speak, so please plan accordingly. The Council sessions are on the second floor of City Hall at 901 Bagby. There is a security check on the ground floor. If anyone else can speak that day, particularly anyone who has been adversely affected by the new LED lighting, it would reinforce our message. The maximum time allowed for each speaker is 3 minutes. Audience members who can show support by standing during our topic would be helpful. I will attend. Information is at the link provided. If you do not find parking on the street, I have found the most convenient spot is the Hobby Center parking lot with quick access to City Hall. There is a fee there for daytime parking. Both Ellen Cohen's office and Jack Christie's office urged us to revisit the issue at the beginning of the year after the election. Now is the time for more voices to be heard.
