To all: Ellen Cohen's office tells us that Laura Spanjian who was the head of the Office of Sustainability and who negotiated the lighting has left that position (no reason given), and that it is not certain that that office will be reinstated by the next mayor. Jack Christie, one of our best supporters also said that we will need to continue under a new Mayor. Bill King has a Town Hall meeting at Fadi's Mediterranean tomorrow where we will bring up the LED issue. His campaign worker Nicholas Reed has volunteered to forward our information to him and urged me to meet him tomorrow. He has a Tell Bill form on his web site where you can bring up the LED problem if you wish at the posted URL below. Sylvester Turner does not have a similar form, but his general contact e-mail for the campaign is info@SylvesterTurner.com. I have not received any feedback from his campaign so far, but only just sent concerns recently. We have also been offered a meeting with CenterPoint by Public Works and have a couple calls in to schedule but have not heard back yet.
