Peace,
Since 2018, Black Yield Institute has developed the soil and growing potential of our farm, The Cherry Hill Urban Community Garden (CHUCG). Right now, Black Yield faces new challenges.
As you know after 4 years of hard labor and stewardship of The Cherry Hill Urban Garden, we are being removed from the land at the end of 2021.
We're preparing the farm for the big move-packing equipment, harvesting our last crops and still continuing programming as usual, but there is still SO much more to do.
The job is not done!
We have launched the #keeptheflame campaign to fund the relocation of The Cherry Hill Urban Community Garden to our new location.
Today we #keeptheflame - reflecting on 6 years of all the stories ,food and people grown at CHUCG.
We ask you to pledge your support and help BYI #keeptheflame toward the relocation of our urban agriculture initiative.
From all of us at Black Yield Institute, we give thanks for your support to continue making CHUCG a space where people can continue to grow food and grow people.
