Being the wife of a convicted paedophile and a mother to his teenage victim and her siblings, I now find myself in a position where I am seeking to divorce this monster and strip him if his parental rights. This is a very long and expensive process. To be able to annul our marriage would allow myself and my family to put this extreme trauma behind us and allow us to move on as a family without the constant reminder of having to share this monsters name. I want to move on but the process is impossible as a single parent on 1 income I am entitled to legal aid due to my low income however there are just not enough availability of family solicitors accepting legal aid cases Also process of getting him to sign etc is difficult And i want to remove his name to protect my children from  others googling his name and getting online information to be bullied and traumatised as they get older. Please sign this petition there must be countless others in my position and something needs to be done about it why should we have to suffer for their inexcusable actions! He may be in prison but the whole family is sharing his sentence parents and/or children in this situation should not be forced to suffer for others actions they should be able to take legal steps to start to repair their life even if financially unable to go through private solicitors.
