This is how determined this lady is to get well and live a long life! She was forcing herself to walk before 24 hours after surgery. She returned to Chicago for a three week check-up on April 25. The surgeon was amazed at how well she is doing. And this wouldn't be possible if she and her husband had not made the decision to go ahead with the HIPEC treatment in spite of insurance not covering it. The final bill has not been issued yet, but the estimate still remains at $35,000.00. Every donation helps no matter the size!
