El Teatro Colón es un teatro lirico, uno de los pocos teatros del mundo que cuentan con talleres de produccion propia. Posee cuerpos artísticos con sus respectivos repertorios y talleres de producción que deben cumplir con su excelencia día a día.

Los eventos privados dentro de este teatro, comenzaron a realizarse más asiduamente, hasta llegar a ser posible casarse dentro de el!

No son más que un enriquecimiento para quienes lo alquilan, entorpeciendo el funcionamiento principal de cuerpos artísticos y generando una no disponibilidad de la sala o espacios para funciones de los propios artistas de la casa. 

Necesitamos tu ayuda, para que los artistas del Colon vuelvan al Colón! Y no que sea un alquiler de sala lujosa a expensas de todos los ciudadanos que cumple con sus impuestos! Para un Teatro Colón para todos y con las funciones y programación acorde a su jerarquia!

The Colon Theatre is a lyric theatre, one of the few around the world with the capability to create and produce every piece of scenery, costumes, props and shoes that are displayed on stage due to each department working inside the theatre with the excellence that is expected from an establishment of this caliber.

The private events in the premises of the theatre are starting to reach a scary frequency and whats most worrying is the variety of events, to the point that right now you can get married inside the most prestigious theatre of Argentina, leaving the theatre’s artistic ensambles without a venue for performances while the rent it out for money that disappears into thin air, pushing fewer and fewer performances for the house artists of the Opera, the Ballet and the Orchestra each year.

We need you to help the Colon Theatre Artists perform inside the Colon Theatre more often. “Private Events” are meant for a “Private Event Venue”, not for a Public Opera House thats paid for by the taxes of citizens of Buenos Aires. We want a Colon Theatre for all, with the season programming and quality performers that’s expected of a world class theatre.
