Wow, not sure what happened suddenly but signatures on our petition have taken off again! Much appreciated to all of you who have been sharing the petition and news of this initiative as that’s what has caused this renewed surge.

A big welcome to all new and past supporters! And I’m so excited to see so many supporters from across Canada! I urge you all to start (if not already happening) similar petitions to each of your own governments so we can make this change happen and get smoke-free air Coast to Coast!!

A few updates from “campaign headquarters” - we  now have a talented graphic designer helping our cause who’s created a wonderful PDF poster that can be printed and put up in your buildings, workplaces, community centres, libraries, stores/malls, or wherever else you’d like to put it (Facebook or twitter profile photo!), as well as that can be distributed by email to any and all people you know with encouragement of course for them to send it on too. I’m working on loading it onto our website (airweshare.ca) so please check there in the next day or two and then you can print as many copies as you like and spread the word. We also have a refined logo and graphics for our webpage and social media accounts thanks to her.

Our website is also in the process of having further resources etc added and so please bookmark us and check back regularly, but most importantly please sign up for our mailing list as then we can reach you with updates that you don’t need to search back for:)

I continue to receive emails from many other individuals suffering with secondhand smoke issues as well and I am so glad that we are all finally coming together to push for the clean air we deserve. So many people have been affected for far too long. Please continue to share your stories. And thanks for being patient with my response turn around - luckily but also challengingly, we’ve had a great abundance of emails!

So please keep up the great work - spread/post the new poster, tell people about this initiative, forward/share this petition, follow us on Facebook/Twitter, and contact your provincial representatives asking for this change! Until next time.....
