Momentum on the pace of petition signatures may have slowed but certainly not the momentum of this initiative. Plus signatures on this petition are ultimately not going to make the change we are asking for happen, but contacting your provincial politicians and getting in direct touch with us and joining is will!

In addition to our airweshare.ca website we also now have a Facebook site, Airweshare, and can be followed on Twitter @airweshare, so please like/follow us there and refer frequently back to our website for updates and/or join our mailing list.

I’ve also finally been hearing back from some of the ministries I contacted with my concerns and so dialogue with the law makers and leaders in BC is underway, though not yet with the Ministry of Housing itself. I have also met with LandlordBC and spoken with other key stakeholders who are supportive of this initiative and working in collaboration with us to achieve the change we are asking for.

So stick with us, change takes time but the best thing you can do is spread the word, encourage people to join our mailing list and keep getting people who are directly affected by secondhand smoke to contact us! We will keep your information confidential, promise:)!
