Thank you all for your interest and support in this cause, and for sharing your reasons for signing. We are excited to see as many signatures as we have in the first day since launching this petition. There is obviously much work yet to be done (formal website, template letter for individuals to send to their local MLA, formal written petition with original signatures to gather) but we remain energized and inspired to make this change happen. Please continue to spread the word and share this with your friends, family, colleagues... - let’s keep up this momentum!!

FYI, since the story first aired on Global News on August 26 at 6pm, we’ve been contacted by Kevin Griffin from the Vancouver Sun also interested to run a story about the petition. This matter needs all the exposure it can get so we will keep pushing, and talking, and writing:)
