The Mauritian government has announced that most of the single-use plastics will be prohibited in the country from January 2021. A list of 10 items including disposable plastic plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, take away boxes will be banned soon. Much more can be done specially for the PET bottles, waste management as well as for manufacturers and industrial plastic packaging...

We, however, hope that this petition has raised awareness towards the community for a greener island and citizens respecting the environment. Let's remember that small steps at home or at the office can make a difference!
