Dear Petitioners, Scores have declined again at the elementary school level and families continue to struggle. For the 12th. year in a row, parents face high tutoring bills, demoralized children, and lost opportunity. Thousands of families are unable to pay for extra tutoring and their children are left further and further behind. I ASK EACH OF YOU TO ENCOURAGE FAMILY, FRIENDS, RELATIVES, NEIGHBOURS AND ACQUAINTANCES TO SIGN THIS PETITION. Signatures can make a difference. AB and MB have made improvements to their math curricula/teacher training. And it was parent pressure that made the difference in AB. Doing nothing just maintains the status quo. The media will continue to focus on this topic into the Fall. More detailed EQAO results will be made public and scores for the international PISA and TIMMS tests will be released. Thank you in advance for signatures; this is a crucial issue, which can and must be solved. Please do as much as possible to help. Teresa Murray, Hamilton, Ontario.
