Honour Jesse Adams with Canadian Recognition for Bravery and Sacrifice
We call on the Government of Canada to recognize Jesse Adams.
Jesse Adams, co-founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, lost his life in Ukraine while helping evacuate animals from the dangers of war.

Jesse’s story is one of courage, compassion, and an extraordinary commitment to protecting the vulnerable. His work gave countless dogs a second chance at life and brought many of them into the homes and hearts of Canadian families. For so many of us, Jesse was responsible for bringing us the four-legged loves of our lives.

But Jesse’s impact reached far beyond animal rescue. He put himself in danger to help those who could not help themselves, carrying out life-saving work in a war zone. His history with the Canadian military adds another important dimension to his story of service and sacrifice.

We believe Jesse’s bravery and ultimate sacrifice deserve formal recognition by Canada.

We are calling on the Government of Canada to review Jesse’s actions and consider him for an appropriate Canadian honour recognizing his extraordinary courage, selflessness, and sacrifice.

This petition is about more than an award. It is about ensuring that Jesse’s actions are acknowledged, that his legacy is preserved, and that the people whose lives he changed have an opportunity to see his courage recognized by the country he called home.

Jesse helped save lives that could not speak for themselves. He gave families companions who became beloved members of their homes. He demonstrated that compassion is not simply a feeling, but something we act upon, even when the risks are unimaginable.

We cannot bring Jesse home, but we can stand together to ensure his story is heard.
