From David Rotenstein: There's a Development Activities Meeting (DAM) scheduled for this evening for a project that will impact the Tito-Mecca-Zizza House in Pittsburgh's Uptown neighborhood. It's too bad that local journalism is on life support otherwise someone might be covering the failure by the community partners to provide proper notice (10 days as required by law) and the scheduled meeting's absence from the Planning Department's DAM page. I'm a stakeholder; Tito family members are stakeholders; and, all of the folks who invested time and money in getting the Uptown property designated as a city historic site are stakeholders. The journos could also write about what appears to be a proposal to demolish one of the buildings, the historic beer distributorship where Rolling Rock was first sold.
